The Wednesday evening group celebrated “Christmas in July” on July 23rd. Our own Mrs. Santa (aka Vernell Santa Maria) arrived early to set up the room with holiday tablecloths and Christmas decorations. Thanks to Olga Clarke for providing the Christmas tree and to all the others who brought various treats to munch on. A Merry Ole’ time was had by all. On another note, Vernell organizes a birthday celebration on the 1st Wednesday of each month to celebrate all of the birthdays that particular month.
