One of the very first meetings we attended when starting our business was the 55+ Club of Satellite Beach. Who would have thought that over the last twelve years, Seniors Helping Seniors would become the trusted source for in-home care in Brevard County. We are thrilled to have won Florida Today’s 2024 Community Choice Awards for best home care, and the 2023 Business of the Year award from Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. We are incredibly thankful for the support of our senior community!
Seniors Helping Seniors is more than “just home care.” We really do hire seniors to help seniors. We build peer relationships and improve quality of life. The business was founded with two simple ideas; seniors can help each other, and seniors who give and those who receive benefit equally.
Should you or a friend need help at home, our services include transportation, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, and more. Our “seasoned” caregivers are working because they want to make a difference. All have federal background checks, are bonded, and insured. My policy has always been that I will not hire someone that I would not put in my own mom’s home.
Additionally, when we hire caregivers, I will not put them into a home I wouldn’t put my mom in. We take care of both sides. If our caregivers are delighted with helping their client, the client is getting wonderful care. If you would like a job you feel good about, we’d love to hear from you.
To help keep our seniors active and safe, we added the Electronic Caregiver to supplement our services. It is a 24/7 safety device that not only works in the home, but wherever a senior goes, from Bingo on Cassia, the Schechter Center, even on a bus trip!
