The 55+ Club offers a variety of enjoyable and affordable travel experiences, including both day trips and extended excursions.
Day Trips
Our day trips are organized in partnership with Casino Connections, which provides comfortable bus transportation. Most destinations are within a two-hour drive, though some may be slightly shorter or longer.
- Trips are offered at reasonable prices.
- Payment deadlines are strictly enforced—your spot is only secured once payment is received.
- Trips are non-refundable but transferable.
- Participation is open to everyone—you do not need to be a club member.
- Seating is limited and trips are first come, first served, so early sign-up is encouraged.

Extended Trips
For longer adventures, the 55+ Club partners with Diamond Tours to offer multi-day trips packed with exciting experiences.
These trips typically include:
- Breakfast daily and select dinners
- Guided tours and sightseeing
- Entertainment and shows
- Motorcoach transportation
Pricing is based on double occupancy, with an additional fee for single occupancy. A deposit is required to reserve your spot, followed by a final payment by the specified deadline. Each trip includes detailed information specific to the destination.

St. John’s River Paddleboat Luncheon June 25, 2026
Join us for a memorable day aboard the Barbara Lee Paddleboat as it cruises along the beautiful St. Johns River, departing from Sanford! The Barbara Lee is the only authentic sternwheeler sailing the river, measuring 105 feet long and featuring impressive wooden paddle wheels.
This relaxing three-hour cruise includes:
•Live entertainment from an Elvis impersonator
•Narration highlighting scenic sights along the river
•A multi-course, chef-prepared meal in a climate-controlled dining room
Menu Details: Each guest will select one of nine entrée options, all served with a salad, baked roll, and dessert. Choices include: • Caribbean coconut chicken • Braised beef short rib • Citrus-glazed salmon • Caesar salad entrée • Shrimp & chicken jambalaya • Herb-roasted half chicken • Mediterranean ravioli • Salmon Milano • Roasted vegetable lasagna Coffee, iced tea, and water are included. Brighton Bay Bingo Trip – July 19th
Make your plans to join the 55+ Club on a day trip to Brighton Bay in Oheechobee, Fl, on Sunday, July 19th. Departure and return will be at the Schechter Center in Satellite Beach. The trip will cost $55pp, which includes $20 in free play in the casino. Bingo starts at 2pm and we will be arriving between 11 and 12. This will allow time to use your $20 free play at the slot machines and get lined up at the Bingo room when the doors open. Seating is first come basis and there are no reserved seats. There is a concession stand if you want to buy a meal. Buy in is $60 or $100 dollars and there are additional “Extra Games” you can purchase. Prize money starts at $250 and can go up to $5000 for games won in 20 numbers or less. More information to follow when sign ups will begin along with more details.
Pigeon Forge & Smoky Mountains Show Trip – September 21–26, 2026

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood
The 55+ Club’s May 7, 2026 trip to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood was a great success and a fun-filled day for all who attended!
A total of 33 people joined the adventure, and the fun began even before arriving at the casino. Along the way, 15 travelers participated in Bingo games on the bus. Prizes included $10 winners for the first eight games and an exciting $35 prize for the final “Full Card” game.
Once we arrived, a Hard Rock employee greeted our group and assisted everyone by adding the free play and buffet discount to their players cards. She also escorted those without cards to the Players Club and stayed until everyone had been helped. The entire process was extremely organized and made the experience smooth and enjoyable for all.
The comfortable bus ride included two movies for everyone to enjoy, and our driver, Casey, did a wonderful job getting us there and back safely.

Morse Museum of American Art, Tiffany Light Museum & Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour
Includes an hour long guided scenic pontoon boat ride tour through the beautiful lakes and canals of Winter Park, followed by time to tour the nearby Morse Museum, which includes the Tiffany Light Museum. Lunch will be on your own at a restaurant of your choice along nearby north park avenue (Panera Bread, Boca, Briar Patch, Tabla India).
BOK TOWER TRIP
The March 3, 2026 Bok Tower trip went well! – AND there were flowers ! Azaleas everywhere you turned your head. A few yellow iris’s, a few magnolia blooms, lots of camellias. All fears about the recent Florida freeze and there not being any flowers were laid to rest. Everybody enjoyed the 1930”s El Retiro house tour and the live carillon concert. Food was good and good reviews on the movie.
