This group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Satellite beach library, from 2-3 pm. The group ranges from 8 to 10 and we will continue to meet through the summer. We save and exchange coupons from the Sunday paper. In addition we save expired coupons which are sent to soldiers over seas. You can assist in this cause by placing your coupons (either good or expired) in the bin located at the DRS Community Center. Submitted by Terry Mellon

The April 9th Fashion Show was a great success and I would like to thank all of the ladies that helped put everything together from
helping to plan, set up & take down, decorating and the great food. Also a big thank you to the 55+ Club members for attending and supporting this event. Thank you to Sharon from Bon Worth for providing the fashions and doing a wonderful job as commentator. Each of the six models picked out three outfits to wear. Cribbage Memorial
The Wednesday Night Card Players held a small memorial service for Jerry Nordling, Cribbage Committee Leader, who passed away on April 8th, after a brief illness. Jerry was instrumental in starting the cribbage class which led to the Cribbage Group. Cribbage started out with just a few players, and thanks to Jerry, we now have at least 12 locals, plus the snowbirds that join us each year. Jerry was a member of the Space Coast Peggers Club on Merritt Island. A memorial table was set up as a fitting tribute to Jerry which included a cribbage board…and cards which represent the best hand you can get in cribbage, a 29. Jerry was an excellent cribbage player, a great teacher, a wonderful friend & we will miss him. We hope to continue his legacy. “Rest in Peace Dear Friend”.
