Both new and returning members of the Fishing Club met at Nikki’s Restaurant on March 19, 2026. At that meeting, members confirmed that the 2026 fishing outings would begin on April 2 at 9:00 A.M. at the public docks near Squid Lips Restaurant in Melbourne. Three members attended the Fishing outing on April 2, 2026. Of those, 2 were fishing – or should I say catching! The weather cooperated for the most part and a great time was had by all!
As a group, it was decided that we will continue our monthly scheduled meetings at Nikki’s Restaurant at 1:00 P.M. on the third Thursday of each month, and our fishing outings will take place on the first Thursday. This schedule will give members time to organize their calendars and obtain any necessary fishing license or gear for the selected location.
