WALKING

A BIG thank you to Myrna Jenkins for stepping up to oversee the Walking group. Please note that walking times have changed to 8:00-9:00am. Myrna wants to encourage all to come and join the group. They walk to lively music and you can walk at your own pace. In addition, she is looking for someone who would be willing to be a sub on occasion when she cannot be there. For questions contact Myrna at 321/773-8664 or [email protected]

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Most of us normally make a new resolution every January, or know people who do. The one resolution we should all be making for ourselves is to be healthy and to stay healthy. The old saying, “If you don’t move it, your gonna lose it” is very true. This community is fortunate to offer many exercise programs for all ages. Why not check them out? For example Satellite
Beach offers: Senior Exercise, Yoga, Pilates, Piloting, Tai Chi, Adult Aerobics, Bone-Walkers
Plus, and the 55+ Club, through the Recreation Dept., offers Walking and Line Dancing. If you live in another area, check out the offerings at that community center. So no more excuses to NOT “move it, so we don’t lose it”!
