The Fishing Group welcomes all levels of fisher-people, whatever the skill level. We have regular meetings once a month at various locations, with occasional guest speakers and special presentations and regular reports. Due to the unfortunate release of raw sewage into the Banana River recently on several occasions, our river fishing activity has been suspended. However, our Ocean Fishing activities, at several venues, is moving ahead, as the ocean is (thankfully), still quite pristine. In addition, several freshwater plans are in
the works. Anyone interested in joining our group should contact Gene at 321 773-4647 and LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Line Dancing Shenanigans
In a show of solidarity, the beginning line dancers surprised Trudy Hughes (who recently broke her right arm) by sporting slings at a recent class. “These shenanigans were the brainchild of sisters Rosaleen Hall and Gay Defosse (two ladies on far right)!” The much-appreciated humor created a light-hearted mood for the class and lifted the spirits of the beleaguered instructor. What a fun group!
WALKING
A BIG thank you to Myrna Jenkins for stepping up to oversee the Walking group. Please note that walking times have changed to 8:00-9:00am. Myrna wants to encourage all to come and join the group. They walk to lively music and you can walk at your own pace. In addition, she is looking for someone who would be willing to be a sub on occasion when she cannot be there. For questions contact Myrna at 321/773-8664 or [email protected]
