SNAIL MAIL VS. EMAIL

The 55+ Club has been working on reducing the cost of postage incurred with the mailing of the club newsletter. Many members have signed up to receive their newsletter via email rather than postal mail. If you have  mail access, we are asking you to sign up NOW. At some point, maybe soon, it may occur that the cost of postage becomes prohibitive and the choice will be rather than discontinue the newsletter, those who have email will only receive it electronically. Please contact Louise S. at 321/202-7337 or [email protected] to sign up for this service.

QUOTES AND QUIPS

We would like to add quotes to the club newsletter if space permits and I’m asking members to send me their favorite quotes or words that have meaning to you. Thank you! 321/202-7337 or [email protected]

NEW ACTIVITIES

The 55+ Club is always interested to hear of additional activities that you would like to see offered. That being said, if you have an activity thought you would like to share we hope you would be willing to assist to make it happen. Please contact Terry Mellon at 321/773-7705 or [email protected] to share your ideas.

RECAP OF EVENTS & TRIPS ~ THE ISLE OF CAPRI

Thirty-five members boarded the bus and played a fun game of bingo on the way to the casino in Pompano Beach. Once at the casino, we enjoyed a day of gaming. The buffet lunch was delicious with all sorts of food choices, drinks & desserts. On the return we watched the movie, The Best of Me based on the book by the same name by Nicholas Sparks. Everyone enjoyed the day and Lady Luck helped some come home money ahead!
