Most of us normally make a new resolution every January, or know people who do. The one resolution we should all be making for ourselves is to be healthy and to stay healthy. The old saying, “If you don’t move it, your gonna lose it” is very true. This community is fortunate to offer many exercise programs for all ages. Why not check them out? For example Satellite
Beach offers: Senior Exercise, Yoga, Pilates, Piloting, Tai Chi, Adult Aerobics, Bone-Walkers
Plus, and the 55+ Club, through the Recreation Dept., offers Walking and Line Dancing. If you live in another area, check out the offerings at that community center. So no more excuses to NOT “move it, so we don’t lose it”!

STOP BY & SAY HI PROGRAM
The Satellite Beach Police Department Volunteer Program provides a beneficial program titled “Stop By & Say Hi” where our volunteers literally do just that with our City residents. We

VALENTINE LUNCHEON
Get your tickets soon for the February 9th luncheon from 11am-2pm at the DRS Community
Center. Enjoy a delicious luncheon, dessert and beverages. Tickets are $10pp and will be available January 9th from the Recreation Office, Thursday Greeting table and from most
committee members. Only 50 tickets will be sold and no sales at the door. Questions call Joanne at 626-9597.

The 55+ Club has been fortunate to team up with Collette Travel and Premiere Discovery Travel to offer several amazing trips. Pick up a flyer with more detailed information on these offerings in 2017.
COUPON GROUP
This group meets the third Wednesday of every month at the Satellite Beach public library. Bring with you your flyers from the Sunday paper or on line coupons and get the ones you need. We also collect expired coupons which are sent to our deployed soldiers. Come join us at 2pm to 3pm.
YEARLY DUES ARE DUE!
Your 55+ Club yearly dues of $7.00 are due. You may pay these at the DRS Center Office M-F, 8:30-5:00pm, at the Thursday Greeting Table or give to any 55+ Club Chairperson.
Members who have not paid their dues by the end of February 2017 will be dropped from the membership list. Please renew NOW, don’t wait! It takes a lot more work to reinstate a
member after they are dropped from our records. So save us the extra steps please!
