If you live in Satellite Beach you are eligible for this program. As a part of this program, you will receive a blood pressure monitor and finger oxygen meter paid for by Medicare. The fire department will hook you up from your iPad or cell phone and your blood pressure and oxygen will be monitored at least 16 days a month. Once a month a medic from the fire department comes by to check on you. Also, the fire department has balance classes for anyone interested.
For the balance classes, one does not have to be a Satellite Beach resident. The next classes start in February. Additionally, the Satellite Beach police department has a program called “Stop by and say hi”.
