The Indian Harbour Beach Police Department now offers a Prescription Drug Drop Box located in the lobby at: 1835 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach. This drop box provides residents of Indian Harbour Beach and surrounding communities with a safe and environmentally friendly way to dispose of unused or expired medications. Proper disposal helps prevent harmful substances from entering landfills or the sewer system, where they can negatively impact the environment.
Additionally, removing unneeded prescription or over-the-counter medications from your home helps reduce the risk of accidental or intentional misuse, especially by children or others. Residents no longer need to wait for the semi-annual National Drug Take Back Program—this drop box is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
